For this production, we wanted to bring back to life the campaign for this iconic chair. Used on several occasions in the fashion universe, the B3 chair, better known as the Wassily, celebrates its 100th anniversary in 2025 and for the centenary of one of the most striking pieces of design, I invite you to travel through time and eras comfortably seated with us for this editorial. We are in the 1920s, when a very futuristic campaign, created together with the artist Oskar Schlemmer, offers a contrast between the revolutionary innovation of this product for the time and the boldness of a masked model sitting cross-legged in her armchair. The result was a perfect combination that made it possible to highlight the real star of the campaign, the Wassily armchair with its avant-garde design. When Marcel Breuer, its designer, unveiled the B3 model in 1925, he did not just present a piece of furniture; he brought a true revolution to the world of design. The chair offered a radical break with traditional furniture aesthetics, embracing the modernist ideals that flourished at the Bauhaus school, where Breuer was both a student and a teacher.
